Gastronomic Tour around Uzbekistan

You will fly and arrive in Tashkent in the evening. You will pass passport and custom control and will be met by a driver who will transfer you to the hotel. After check in you will have free evening and dinner. Overnight in the hotel. 

After breakfast you will have sightseeing tour around the capital of Uzbekistan – Tashkent. You will visit the famous monuments of Tashkent: the ensemble Khast Imam (2007), including the Oriental Library of Manuscripts where Quran of caliph Usman is kept, then you will visit the most ancient and biggest bazaar of Tashkent – Chorsu. After this, you will descend to the Tashkent underground where each station amazes by its design. Transfer by metro to the place of lunch. Lunch is in the Center of pilaf, where you can try Tashkent pilaf. After lunch, a tour around the modern part of Tashkent. You will visit Amir Temur Square and Independence Square. Return to the hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant (the main dish on this day, “Noryn” – noodles with horse meat). Transfer to the station and transfer by night train to Urgench. Overnight on the train.

Arrival in Urgench. Transfer to Khiva and hotel accommodation. Lunch at the national house (main dishes: Shurpa, Khiva pilaf and Tukhum barak). After lunch, the beginning of the excursion in Khiva. You will visit the inner city, Ichan Kala – Kunya Ark citadel, the madrasah and the mosque of Khoja Islam. Dinner with a master class of “Gumma” cooking at a national house. Overnight in the hotel.

Breakfast in the hotel. Continuation of the tour: you will visit Tash Hauli palace, Juma mosque, the minaret and the madrasah of Muhammad Aminhan, the complex of Pahlavan Mahmud. Transfer to lunch at “Harot” (main course fresh fried fish). Return to Khiva. Free time. Dinner at the restaurant “Muntur” (main course – Khorezm kebab). Overnight in the hotel.

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Bukhara through the Kyzylkum desert along the Amu Darya river. Lunch on the way to Bukhara (lunch boxes). Arrival in Bukhara. Free time, visiting souvenir shops. Dinner at the “Badriddin” restaurant (the main course is roast beef according to the special recipe of the restaurant). Overnight in the hotel.

After breakfast in the hotel you will start the excursion in Bukhara. You will visit Samanids mausoleum, Chashma Ayyub necropolis, Bolo House complex, Ark fortress, Poi Kalyan architectural complex, Abdulazizkhan and Ulugbek madrasahs. Lunch (main course Bukhara pilaf). After lunch, you will continue the tour. You will visit Lyabi House architectural complex, shopping domes. You will visit Tea House, where you can try tea with different spices and traditional sweets. Folk show at Nodir Devonbegi Madrassah. Dinner at the national house with a master class (main dish Dolma, Bukhara samsa). Overnight in the hotel.

Breakfast in the hotel. Today you will start the tour to the monuments outside Bukhara. You will visit the summer residence of the last emir of Bukhara – Sitorai Mohi Khosa, the memorial complex of Bahaudin Naqshbandi and Chor Bakr necropolis. Lunch at Chor Bakr (main course is Tandoor kabob). After lunch drive to Samarkand. Arrival. Hotel accommodation. Dinner at the national house with a master class of cooking Manti. Overnight in the hotel.

Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast you will start the tour around the ancient capital of Temur’s empire – Samarkand. You will visit the mausoleum of Gur Emir, Registan Square. Lunch at the pilaf center (main course Samarkand pilaf). After lunch, you will visit Bibi Khanym Mosque and Shahi Zinda necropolis. After the tour, you will visit the Khovrenko factory with a wine tasting. Dinner at a local restaurant (main course …). Overnight in the hotel.

After breakfast hotel check out. Continuation of the tour in Samarkand. Visit the medieval observatory of Ulugbek and Samarkand paper factory “Meros”. After lunch transfer to the international airport and departure.

If there are no flights from Samarkand International Airport, on Day 9 there will be the transfer from Samarkand to Tashkent. Overnight will be at Tashkent hotel. On Day 13 there will be the transfer to the International airport of Tashkent and departure.
